Collaboration and partnering to help clients develop their sales skills
CGU Insurance has been working for over 100 years in Australia providing innovative products and services to the intermediaries in the insurance market. CGU’s vision is to recognised as the leader in their segment of the market.
What CGU wanted to do:
- Provide a forum where their brokers could get to know them better
- Understand the business issues faced by their brokers
- Work with their brokers to help them grow their businesses
- Develop more robust relationships with their brokers and authorised reps
- Develop a richer understanding of the needs and issues of the end client
What Right Turn did:
- Structure a program for insurance brokers to develop Sales Skills, to assist in growing their businesses and client base
- Package the program offer to intermediaries across the state, including regional areas where training opportunities are limited.
- Deliver a nationally accredited program across the state, running 4 programs over a period of 8 months that also contributes to annual professional development requirements.
- Participants of the CGU Partners Professional Development Program are gaining a range of sales skills including: self management strategies to improve business effectiveness; prospecting and networking skills; sales skills to help build value in the sales solution and win more business; and presentation skills to increase confidence and enhance delivery.
